Color or Colour? Challenge Dolls

Here in Australia, the spelling is "colour" but I know that in other parts of the world, it is "color". What does it matter when  beautiful dolls are made for the Art Dolls Only Color /Colour Challenge which finished at the end of May 2017  . Thank you to all who entered and to all who admire , I hope you will be inspired for the next challenge.  Enjoy these wonderful art dolls ... Wilma

Forest Fairy
Wings made from organza embroidery beads. The dress felt wool with nice vintage needlework.
. The doll is made from polymer clay. Doll size 40cm

Wood Fairy for Tickled Pink.
Made from piece of found wood and wire armature wrapped in soft cotton.
I live next to the Shenandoah National Forest, USA. which  inspired my Wood Fairies.
There are lots of trees in our town, so I pick up broken pieces of trees, acorns etc.
The Fairies are bendy and have wool hair.

A doll for the colours challenge:
'Maybe I'm not all that yellow' (The Catcher in the Rye, J.D. Salinger)

Neon Orange

Brown

 Blue in the Face:
"Hippie Highness is a hand-painted baby doll wrapped in material and pieces of yarn. Her name comes from the peace insignia scarf, her beaded necklaces and Hand-designed headdress.

Green with Envy:
"Alexa" was once upon a time a mint can.
Now she is an intense little reminder to stand up for yourself and what you believe!

GLAMOR PUSS (Tickled Pink).
Hand stitched and embroidered wool/rayon felt, buttons, polyfill. 7 1/2" tall.

 She was "green with envy"
but realised that this was not a good feeling to experience....
Needle felted doll form, with cloth over clay head and some hand stitching with beads

 Height 18cm /7.5ins
